The Second Son Chronicles part 1 - a long way home

A young royal prince is abducted from a battlefield and dragged as a prisoner deep into a foreign country. Walking days on end he reminiscences on his youth in the castle and his pregnant wife who is expecting their first child. He is determined to get back home.

This creates a combination of a road movie and a coming of age story. The novel is well written without spelling mistakes or editing errors. There is violence and sex but never over explicit. The writing style is very pleasant what makes it an interesting read.

It is part of a series set in a fictional medieval "England-like" country.
