Review of "Sandstorm" - surviving on a planet forgotten by earth.

I wish authors would write complete stories. Series are great but then of separate subjects or eras not a story cut into pieces.

Having said that this novel is great with world building and fleshed out characters and thus still getting 4 stars. 

It is set on a desert planet where humans seem to have been stranded in the past (said to be a former mining colony but generations ago supply ships stopped coming) and now have to survive in a primitive society. But life is getting harder and the planet has hidden secrets in store. 

I was thinking this might have been the feeling after the Romans abandoned Britannia.
